| This clever scam starts
with an email (shown below) which appears to be legitimately from
service@paypal.com, but it's really sent from a thief.
The letter gives you alarming news:
"This email confirms that
you have paid LWPELECTRONICS $474.99 USD using PayPAL. "

This scam email tricks you into
thinking that some one has hijacked your PayPal account and gone and
bought a cell phone with your money. When you login to verify
that it really happens you give away your login information to an
automated server script.
The way to detect this is a fake right
off the bat is that when you click on the "Dispute Transactions" it
takes you to a URL that is NOT PayPal:
