This email comes to you looking exactly like a communication sent from Bank of America as shown below. The alarming part is that it says Your Online Banking is Blocked This gives you the feeling that a hacker was trying to log into your Bank of America account and that it was locked out due to suspicious activity like too many unsuccessful login attempts. What gives it away is that as soon as you click on the link "sign in to Online Banking" to see what is going on, it tries to direct you to a strange web site that is not Bank of America .
