  1. This is the mode switch.  There are 3 positions, Picture mode, Movie mode , and play back mode.

  2. This is the power button to turn the SD630 Camera Off and On.

  3. The zoom lever can be used during regular pictures and movies.  This is a first for what I have seen!  With past Canon and Sony Cameras I have had you could not zoom during a movie recording.

  4. This is the button to take a picture or film a movie.

  5. The Print or Share Button

  6. Function Set Button

  7. Touch Control Ring

  8. Green / Yellow indicator tells you when the camera is saving a picture or when it is busy.  When it is solid green it is ok to take a picture.

  9. Menu Button
