I am trying to review topics that I have studied and start on some topics that are new to me. I have some books that I can study from, of course, but your collection is unique in format as well as bringing diverse, but related, topics together.

4-12-04 Greg zzreferzz@juno.com This program is superb, even with the limited options available until one requests them. Thanks a bunch. I would like to request all programs for the science software 2.1, if that is allowed. Otherwise, I would appreciate the algebra word problems, for a start, and go down the line, if I may. I 5-be off on the etiquette, but as is normal for me, I try to put things together and then read the instructions. So, I will now view the guest book entries for an example of what I should have wrote. Thanks again, Greg

10-15, 2003 Cole augidog33@hotmail.com I was wondering if i could get all of the physics and calculus simulations for the science software. I don't really have many suggestions because i haven't saw any of the simulations i can relate to. I think they are good thus far. The only thing i could think of would be to include a little more text explaining each simulation. Unless it's already there and I just haven't saw it. Other than that though it appears to be good.

9-9, 2003 Roger Reinsch Roger@ShotScan.com I just loaded the Empty Motor Simulation. I can more easily learn what I can see. Your simulation does show the basics of the Stator of a 3-phase motor. If I have terminology right, this is a single-pole motor (one revolution per cycle of the power line) that would turn at 3600 RPM on the US grid. I would like to see simulations of (a) more poles for slower speed but more torque and, therefore, also some simulation of the rotor. It still is magic to me how AC motors with NO permanent magnets actually go round and round. Please let me know of others that might be available. Thanks. Roger Comment re: how the sim runs on my machine (P4 at about 1.4GHZ with Win2K). The speed control provides very few slow speeds. With the needle any where off SLOW, it's way to fast to see anything. Also, when I move the window on the screen, the animation gets very herky-jerky (not a very scientific term, sorry). If I later click the title bar of the window, the sim smoothes out. It will stay smooth even when it's not the t

6-4, 2003 Dave Cutcher cutchis@shaw.ca Neat Stuff. I'll use some for my High School Electronics Class. Money for education is always tight. I do have some older computers (P166, 32M Ram)that I am substituting for real test equipment. This should be easy, but is beyond me right now. I need to have a "signal generator" that will output through the sound card. I should be able to generate at least a single tone in sine or square wave. My intent is to be able to use it for bench testing and basic op amp work. Thanks for the beautiful work on your site. Cutch
6-2, 2003 Charles SupraSierran@hotmail.com Thank you so much for providing this resource. I am very poor and, (perhaps contrary to your intended recipient --but by necessity) a self educator; and when lucid... well, rapacious and eclectic. These small, simple tools appear quite useful and its the day to day curiosities that keep me alive I think. I can only make payment with future suggestions, and I look forward to doing so. Again thank you.
6-1, 2003 William Rance rantek@pacific.net.sg PID would be great, also if possible Fuzzy control. Many engineers cannot grasp the D in PID, consequently they work only with the PI. Thanks

5-22, 2003 David Christensen David@VR2L.net Hi. I just had this idea of making a 3d-scientific program were it is possible to build a shape, machine and whatever -were you can deffine natural forces (and share them) and also chemical components, and a atmosphere in were your machine should work -all deffinened in an XML-document -and then it can somehow calculate an approx result (by plugins also developed by users) on how your machine or invention would work.. A open source project I had in mind.. So, is that anything you would like to go on with? Scienceshareware is just the place for this to be, I recon.. Write to me anuone if you are interested.

8-7-02 Brian Reid breid@norwich.edu Hi, I like the Empty Stator fed by 3-phase power supply simulation, but it seems to go too fast on my 1.0 gHz machine even at the slowest speed setting. At least the resultant vector does -it's too jerky for reasonable viewing. The other vectors look good at the slowest setting. -Brian

11-26-00 Jim Sivills FrankSmart@aol.com I would like to make several suggestions here if I 5-please. If you would like to have a person's home address, perhaps putting in several data lines in your fill-in place for this would be helpful (as in Name*, Email, City, and Country, which you already have). I personally wouldn't mind a bit receiving interesting and challenging problems in math, physics, and engineering, including more complex (and/or basic) theoretical questions facing theoretical physicists, mathematicians, and engineers, in the mail or by e-mail. And maybe having a place where people at their home computers can submit a request to you to download into your computer system interesting and useful (and/or baffling) problems might be something you would like to consider. I plan to come back often to your neat site. Thanks for doing this. Sincerely, Jim Sivills.
11-26-00 James Sivills FrankSmart@aol.com Hi. How are You? My name is Jim, and I am planning on taking Partial Differential Equations next semester. Also, since I have been out of school 2 years now, I am a little rusty on my math. If it is not too much trouble, would you please let me know (via e-mail) where I can go to find good info and education about this subject on the internet? Although you probably already know, on the yahoo.com site at Education> Subjects> Mathematics, there are a lot of good links to visit, one of which is yours. Thanks for putting up a neat, useful site. Thank-you. Sincerely, James Sivills
