Moody's challenges start with  practicing putting out fires and then turning fire salamanders into Jelly beans. 

General rules about fires:

1. Each one takes about 10 - 15 seconds to put out.

2. Make sure you don't let Harry Potter stand too close to the fire while putting it out.  It could burn harry and make him loose jelly beand.

3. When putting out small fires you only need one person.  If you are playing by yourself, don't worry, the other 2 characters in the game will automatically join you to help you  put out bigger fires.

4. When trying to kill fire Salamanders don't stand still more than 5 seconds because they will shoot flames at you.  You need to cast water at them for 5 seconds and then move.  over and over until they turn into jelly beans. 

WARNING!- at the exit door of the first room, the floor grate will suddenly burst into flames.  It surpises most people. 

WHen going through the 2nd room of Moody's challenges, cast the axio spell by pusing the green triangle button on you PS2 controller, this will get you all sorts of goody health points.

After you get through the 2nd room you will find yourself outside the castle.   Gp straight and cast aqua eruptum to put the fire jet coming out the wall by pusing the red Square button on the PS2 controller.

Follow the path up until you get to the salamanders.  You  need to put the fire out first.
