Footbal coaching tips for quarter back QB steps

After the center snap, the Quarterback should bring the ball up to his numbers, instead of carrying the ball at his waist. He can attain a much faster release from there….it is much more compact. He should have it at this position when he hits his back step. As the Quarterback turns to his right to accomplish his footwork, He should strive to keep his eyes straight ahead and his shoulders parallel with the L.O.S.(Line of Scrimmage) You can teach him to achieve this flexibility with practice. This technique allows him to scan the field as needed.
