Step

STEP 8 -  (~10 minutes) -  Bike Generator Rubber Roller Assembly

a Use a hex wrench to install the set screws into the roller housing.
b Check that the set screws do not stick out so that they prevent you from sliding the rubber roller onto the generator shaft.
c Slide the roller onto the shaft.  Note that the shaft has a flat area ono it.
d Rotate the roller and tighten the first set screw so that it touches down in the middle of the flat part. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.  Make it snug so that a 5 year old child could loosen it.
e

Tighten the 2nd set screw.  Make it snug just like the first one.

f You will need to adjust this roller to align it to the center of your tire.
